A Rather Hasty Introduction Brought To You By Coffee...
Hey! Hello!
My name is Samara! Some know me as Sam, Sparrow, Shady Sammyy(ShadyS). And whatever other nicknames that has been given to me as the years have gone on. I am currently 24, turning 25 in September. And as of a while now, I've been single. Not by my choice. Might I add. But I am starting to respect the persons decision. It may be just for the best right now. Oh, and I will not be naming names. I am trying not to do that now. Its my new thing.
I am starting this blog because I wanted to do something to help me with developing a bit in my life. And I fully intend to keep updating. Even with no one viewing. Which is okay. I am not too worried about it. I am just here to physically share my goals and ambitions with other people. Be it friends, family, and even strangers. Basically whomever may be reading this right now.
I have a fur baby, her name is actually Baby. Or Baby Boo. Which I think is cute. She is actually turning 3 in March. On the 9th. Which I am excited for because I want to plan a special day for her because she has been so blue lately. And I really do understand why she is so blue, because it is the same reason why I am. But maybe that is a story for another time.
Now, what makes me tick you ask?
Well as of right now, it is coffee, water, and less than 1100 CALs a day. A little extreme. I know. But I am trying to be healthier. And I know its not the healthiest ways of getting there. But as you should know. I am in the process of trying out these diets or "lifestyles" some people call them. Kind of like the Ketogenic Diet or the Vegan Diet.
I know you need to do a considerable amount of studying and reading up on these diets. But I really don't think I have the patience to do so. Also, I find that both are really expensive in my opinion.
I would never go to those extremes and possibly harm myself in the process where I would be at either end of the spectrum. And do not get me wrong. I have lots of respect for those who do either diets. If you are somewhere in the diet spectrum, just so you know. I probably respect you a lot. Unless you are someone I really hate.
But right now I am sitting in a happy place where I am neither. I am currently wanting to go full force into the Pescaterian diet or try being a Vegetarian. I guess which ever one comes naturally.
**I in no way endorse cutting out so many CALs a day, or basically starving yourself. This is just what I am doing and it seems to be helping me. Everyone is different.
You must know that I tend to really over eat and I wasn't all that active in my life after I turned 18. I know proper eating and exercising regularly is the key to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I used to be a really healthy and a active person. I loved playing sports, and I had fun being outdoors. And it is really hard if your life has been thrown out of whack. Getting back into the habits of your previous lifestyle is actually quite vexing. Especially if you had gotten used to being a certain way.
I think it has to really start when I was friends with this one person. All they would eat was junk food, and slush. And I started to pick up that diet because it was fun and I was always at their house. It was easy and I didn't mind it. However it made a transition to eating out regularly and staying in when I was living on my own in the start of a relationship with someone I really do hold dearly. Now I don't really want you to think I am pointing any fingers at anyone for my short comings.
I know that I was being unhealthy and unfit. And I could feel myself get heavier as the years drug on. You know, I didn't see a problem with the way I was eating and the way I was living until I looked in the mirror and really saw someone I didn't fully recognize. And again, I kind of drew into myself and kept making promises to myself and to the love of my life. I intended to keep my promises. But it is hard when you aren't happy with how you look.
You start to get this unhappy outlook on yourself. The negative look on life and thinking that everyone is going to just abandon you because of the way you look. You start to feel jealous and clingy and really not trusting towards them because you feel bad about yourself. It really didn't matter how much you were reassured. You wanted to drag them down with you, especially when you were happy with their changes in life. You can't help but accidentally say something negatively about the joyous news and try to play it off as a joke. But in reality you know it hurt their feelings because they can sense the fear coming from you because you aren't willing to make any big changes like they are.
Like going on a diet that has a lot of results for a wide range of people.
Those are bad habits that I have.
I also have this outlook on life that the world is out to get me. Some would say that I am quite egotistical. And I realize. I do. I hate it when some words spill out of my mouth like word vomit. I am really trying to get that into check. I also have a bit of an anger problem. I mean, I would never physically hit someone, or say it right to their face. No I am a bit of a coward and wait to gossip about it.
It is really bad. I love to gossip about people I hate. It makes me feel awesome. And that isn't right. I don't know where this negative person stemmed from. I never used to be like this. But then again I think I picked this up after high school. I was never one to just say something bad about someone.
Maybe it started when I started to feel bad about my image. Whatever the case may be, its not someone I used to be. It isn't someone I thought I would ever be.
So, I am hoping that starting this blog, it will help me figure some stuff out. I am going to be posting my goals for myself for the next year. As well as my interests. Its is probably not a big list. But at least it is something to do with some of my free time. I will also be elaborating on what I am currently doing with my life and what other changes I think I should be making.
